Philosophy and Platform:

“The reason I am running for re-election is to continue efforts to make Florida’s economy the strongest in the nation. I want to expand job growth in Florida and make our state prosperous and full of opportunity for the future. I believe we can bring more jobs to Florida without compromising our commitment to our quality of life, if we have the right leadership to help chart the way. If I am privileged to serve another term as your state representative, I won’t vote for any tax or fee increases. I won’t support spending increases and inefficiencies that grow the size of government. I will work hard to review regulations that are either duplicated or are simply outdated. I will support and work for additional lawsuit reform.  I will support efforts to complete the Everglades cleanup and bring a stronger focus on protecting our future water supply.  I will support efforts to ensure that the Indian River Lagoon’s vitality is preserved and that Lake Okeechobee discharges do not further affect our beaches and shorelines. I will support strategic economic development efforts that will expand and diversify our economy and ensure careers and opportunities for Floridians.  Finally, I will support more accountability and choice in our education system, building on our recent gains, and giving us the opportunity to create the best trained workforce in the world.”
