Joe Negron is the Republican candidate for election for the Florida Senate in District 25.


Senator Joe Negron currently represents District 32 in the Florida Senate. As a result of redistricting, he is running for election in November 2016 for Senate District 25. While the boundaries of the new District are somewhat changed he will still represent all of Martin County.

Senator Joe Negron is the President designate of the Florida Senate upon assuming office in January 2017.

He serves on the Senate Appropriations Committee as Chair of the Criminal and Civil Justice Subcommittee. Among the other Committeess in which he serves are the Committee on Higher Education and the Committee on Banking and Insurance.

He is a native Floridian, born in West Palm Beach.  Joe has an undergraduate degree from Stetson University, a law degree from Emory University and a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University.  He practices law with the Gunster law firm.

Joe and his wife, Rebecca, live in Stuart and have three children.
