For too many Americans getting a job is the most urgent issue today. Over 14 million are unemployed (9.1% nationally, 10.7% in Florida), and many more are underemployed and need to know that new jobs will be created and the economy will grow. President Obama’s plan to stimulate the economy with almost one trillion dollars in spending has not worked and the onslaught of regulations and increased health care costs on businesses brought job creating investment to a shrieking halt. Republicans in the U.S. House have already passed legislation to stimulate growth but the Democrats in the U.S. Senate will not consider it – or other proposals – to cut regulations and repeal Obamacare.
